Questions

Does the shipping line have to agree?

Yes. Re-using a container needs the shipping line's approval (often via Avantida or by e-mail). You and the transport company agree who arranges it.

What does it cost?

ContainerTransport is free until the end of 2026. We take no commission on the freight — you pay the transport company directly.

What if there's no empty near me?

Post your export as usual: transport companies quote and bring an empty from the depot. New empties come on the board every day.

What do I need for a booking request?

Your loading site and contact, the date and time, the shipping line's booking number and where the full container goes. The transport company sees it all before it says yes.
